Hammer Tæpper A/S – Hammer Carpets

Founded in 1948 by Sigfred Møller Jørgensen.

From its modest beginnings, the factory at Birk was built in the early 1960s and subsequently regularly expanded and refurbished.

Over the years, Hammer Carpets became a specialist manufacturer specialising in textile carpet flooring, made both in wool and synthetic yarns. Quality is a focus point at every step of the production process. We produce carpets for contract and domestic markets alike.

Our machinery is consistently upgraded, expanded and replaced. We use state-of-the-art technology and meet contemporary requirements. We are keen to remain at the forefront of development. We are proud to be one of the world’s largest suppliers of products made using the outstanding Colortec technology.

Our state-of-the-art production facilities and in-house design studio mean that we can offer individual design solutions, excellent quality and fast delivery to contract markets. Our principal contract markets are hospitality (including a large number of four-and five-star hotels) and maritime, primarily the cruise liner segment.
